At the core of Adamant’s capability is technical leadership backed by decades of global experience. Our technical operations are led by Shashi B. K. Sinha, an Australian citizen with more than 35 years of distinguished experience across India, Australia, China, and Russia. Shashi’s background spans textile processing, dyestuff, chemical and polymer technologies, enabling Adamant to translate advanced material science into production-ready, compliant fabric systems.
Adamant’s expertise covering fabric engineering across knit, woven, and technical textiles, incorporating a wide range of yarn compositions and fabric constructions is ably support by Bob low and John O’Connor. Our capabilities extend through wet processing, dyeing, printing, finishing, quality assurance, R&D, and scale-up to mass production, ensuring technical concepts are commercially viable and consistently repeatable.
We specialise in high-performance and protective textiles, including inherent flame-resistant (FR) fabrics, PBI and Kevlar-based systems, high-visibility thermal and flame-protective materials, and breathable synthetic insulation systems with advanced moisture management. Adamant also develops complex finishes such as water and soil repellency, flame retardancy, and specialised protective treatments to meet stringent international standards.
In military and security textiles, Adamant leads the development of uniform and camouflage fabrics engineered for specific operational environments. Capabilities include multi-terrain concealment, FR and antistatic performance, and infrared reflectance (IRR) control technologies.
For wet, cold, and extreme cold weather protection, we engineer advanced outerwear solutions including aramid and PTFE laminate systems, FR wet-weather gear, extreme cold protective clothing, and flyers’ ensembles with inherent FR and antistatic properties.
Adamant also supports safety and protective clothing applications, including fragment and ballistic protection, emergency services apparel, molten metal splash protection (PR97), and oil & gas safety textiles.
